In the whole month of Ramadan, Muslims across the world refrain from drinking and eating from sunrise till sunset. Even smoking, or a sip of water or coffee can revoke ones fast. For the elderly, women who are pregnant, people travelling, sick people, children’s and nursing or menstruating there are exception to fasting.
