As all of us who use 2-step verification with Gmail are familiar that every time when you login, the 2-step verification code get received on your registered mobile through SMS and after entering that code only you will be further directed to use your Gmail Account.
So now people who are using other third party application such as G Talk, Mail clients like Microsoft Outlook or Mail App in MAC, mail apps in Android, Apple Devices, Blackberry, iPhone etc., when you try to login with this apps you don’t get option neither you get the code of 2-step verification to enter into it, to get logged in into these apps. So for those who have enabled 2-step verification who have problem in logging in with other third party app here we are going to discuss on this topic.
Just login to your Gmail mail account directly from browser, go to account and then click on security, there you will find 2-step verification in Password group section.
Click on 2-step verification settings, it will redirect you to enter your Account Password again just enter your password and click on sign in.
There after you will be directed to page of 2-step Verification settings, just click on app-specific passwords, and then just click on Manage Application Specific Passwords you will get moved to a page where you can generate the password to login for specific app.
For eg. if I want to login to Gtalk so I will have to write GoogleTalk in the name field and then click on generate, it will generate a password to login to GTalk app just copy that password and enter it into the Google Talk App to login you will successfully get logged in into the app.
Similarly if you want to log in to other products you will have to do the same thing write the name and generate the password.
