We have huge database of contacts saved on our mobiles phones, and now a days everybody uses Android Mobile devices, so to manage our Contacts in Android is so easy.
So now let’s talk about how to export contacts from mobile to SD Card, now suppose you have 100 contacts and you want to reset you phone but after Reset your contacts will get deleted, so to save your contacts you can export all contacts to your SD Card, to save go to contacts than select options than select more, in more you will find Import/Export, click on that, next you will get all options like “Import from SIM Card, Import from SD Card, Export to SIM, Export to SD Card" so you will have to select Export to SD to copy all contacts to your SD Card, after selecting it will prompt you to select contacts which one to export to select all click on select all if you want custom than manually you have to select, after selection click on Done than it will show Confirm Export dialog and it will show you the file name followed by file extension .vcf than click on OK than it will start process exporting.
So now next comes how to import Contacts from SD Card, just similar to the what you have done it in first step while exporting contacts, Now if you have completed you Reset process you will find there is no contacts, but before you have saved the contact’s so no need to worry just go to contacts than select options, than more, than Import/Export Contacts in that list select Import from SD Card, than select Phone option, than it will start searching the vcf files located and then it will show you the vcf contact file select the file and then the import process will start and your contact will be back on your device.
